In Nature a diminutive mirror ball is cradled by an insistently pink high chair, too shakily constructed to serve any other purpose than toy. Nature is a title that also calls to mind its opposite – the unnatural – as well as the well-worn dichotomy of nature vs. nurture, and a reference to the fiction of the smothering mothering that has been blamed for homosexuality.
