The image burned into the cornhole boards depicts the original anti-gay celebrity spokeswoman, Anita Bryant, being pied in the face by the gay rights activist Tom Higgins in 1977. The scaffold pierces the hole of both cornhole boards, gesturally reenacting the impact of the action.
